Celeriac

Apium graveolens var.rapaceum

Celeriac has a large bulbous root which has a similar flavour to celery. Remove any side roots that apear as the bulb grows. Serve cooked or raw in salads soups or stews.

 

Season: Autumn/Winter

Position: Full sun

Maturity: 14-24 weeks

Usage: Great for adding flavour to soups and stews.
